Students Grievance Redressal Committees (SGRC)

» Introduction

In accordance with the University Grants Commission (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023, every higher educational institution is mandated to constitute a Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC). The primary purpose of the SGRC is to address and resolve grievances raised by students in a fair, impartial, and time-bound manner. This committee serves as a structured mechanism to uphold students' rights and ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful academic environment. Through this platform, students can voice their concerns related to academic, administrative, infrastructural, or any other issues affecting their educational experience.

The SGRC acts as a bridge between students and institutional authorities, ensuring transparency, accountability, and justice in institutional functioning. It empowers students while strengthening institutional governance and commitment to quality education.
